Mission/Purpose Statement: Deacons are called to be dynamic, Christ-centered, ordained servant-leaders, surrendered to providing appropriate care to the members of Pilgrim Rest (Acts 6:1-8, I Timothy 3).

31. Deaconess Ministry
Mission/Purpose Statement: Under the headship of the pastor and chairman of deacon ministry, we serve Christ by serving his people as assistants (not deacons) to the deacons (Romans 16:1-2, First Corinthians 11:1-3)

32. Trustee/Finance Ministry 
Mission/Purpose Statement: Led only by the Holy Spirit, we support Pilgrim Rest by making authorized business assessments (legal, land, financial, employment) that effect the management of Pilgrim Rest and the properties entrusted to her care by Christ (Matthew 22:21). Quarterly appraisals, Itemized budgets per each ministry, neatly maintained file of receipts, warranties, and directory of reliable contractors/vendors. Trustees will sponsor workshops on budgeting, financial stewardship, estate planning, and grant writing.

33. Secretarial Ministry TBA
Mission/Purpose Statement: To provide for the orderly reception, processing, approval, publication, distribution, and management of pertinent Pilgrim Rest communications and correspondence in a Christ-centered manner.

34. Website Ministry
Mission/Purpose Statement: Designed to promote the strategic, Christ-centered goals of Pilgrim Rest through technical publicity of information, inspiration, and institution.

35. Custodial/Maintenance Ministry (Support Ministry)
Mission/Purpose Statement: To keep God’s property managed by Pilgrim Rest clean, decent and orderly with environment safe materials and a cheerful, prayerful smile.

36. Calendar Ministry TBA
Mission/Purpose Statement: To insure that events authorized by pastor are properly and regularly noted on an official Pilgrim Rest calendar, distributed for all interested persons.

37. Associational Ministry TBA (Support Ministry) 

Mission/Purpose Statement: To engage with some of our sister Christian congregations in fellowship and discipleship to God’s glory.
